Coach Mueller has been a member of the Knights baseball program since 2016, where he has coached at both the JV and Varsity levels. On the Knights staff, Coach Mueller works mainly with the hitters. Prior to Northridge, Coach Mueller headed up baseball teams at the 11U, 12U, 13U, 15U and 16U levels in the Hillside Summit, Top Tier and Schaumburg Seminole organizations. Players from these teams went on to play at Butler, Purdue, University of Illinois Chicago, Southern Illinois, Holy Cross, Case Western, Aurora and Augustana.
Coach Mueller played two years of college baseball at Illinois Benedictine (now Benedictine University Lisle). He has a Bachelor and Masters degree in engineering from the University of Notre Dame and IIT, respectively, and a Masters in Management from Northwestern's Kellogg School. He is retired and has four children.
