Patrick Hunt '88

Coach Hunt graduated from Northridge in 1988 and initially went on to St. Leo’s College in Florida where he played DII Baseball. After a year at St. Leo’s, he attended Loras College and graduated with a degree in Physical Education in 1993. Returning to the Chicago area he began teaching at St. Mary of the Angels, before joining the Northridge team in 1998 where he started off teaching English, Reading, Earth Science and Religion, before teaching Physical Education full time a few years later.

While teaching at St. Mary of the Angels, Coach Hunt led the varsity baseball team at The Latin School of Chicago, where he was named conference Coach of the Year. He was also named varsity baseball Coach of the Year in the Chicago Prep Conference three out of six years, and two times in the Independent School League (ISL) Conference. Coach Hunt has over 350 wins throughout the course of his high school coaching career.

Coach Hunt also has over 25 years of basketball coaching experience. Before the 2022-23 school year he stepped away from basketball to give the baseball players and the development of the program all of his attention.

In 2013 Coach Hunt received his Masters Degree from Concordia University in School Administration. 

Coach Hunt and his wife Josette have four children.
