NILES, Illinois — History was made once again for Northridge Athletics on Saturday as the Knights cross country team captured the Chicagoland Christian Conference Championship in their first year as members of the CCC. It marks the program's first-ever conference championship since joining the league, and they did it in emphatic style, placing seven runners in the top ten and sweeping the first four spots in the race.

Leading the way was senior Peter Kipp, who delivered a statement performance en route to being crowned the individual CCC champion. Kipp's blistering time of 16:10 not only earned him first place but also set a new conference championship meet record. He was closely followed by Josh Allen (16:12), Blake Quinley (16:15), and John Masaka (16:43), giving Northridge a clean sweep of the top four at a team score of just 16 — an incredible 47 points over 2nd place finisher Wheaton Academy.

The Knights' dominance didn't stop there. Mike Reiff (16:58), James Masaka (17:04), and Ryan Holler (17:14) also finished inside the top ten, earning all-conference honors alongside their teammates. With seven all-conference runners, Northridge not only secured the team title but showcased the depth and balance that has become the hallmark of this year's squad.

With momentum on their side and championship hardware now in hand, the Knights will look to carry their success into the postseason — and build on last season's IHSA 1A state title — as they prepare for the upcoming regional meet at Grayslake Central on Saturday, October 25.
