NILES, Illinois — Northridge senior Connor Lolli has announced that he will continue his education and baseball career at Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Known as one of the programs leaders and hardest workers, Lolli showed off a vastly improved game in his junior season, helping the Knights to a 20-win year, and it's best since 2009. During the 2023 campaign, Lolli hit .344 with 31 hits and 24 RBI.

"From the time Connor arrived at Northridge he has always shown great passion for the game of baseball," Knights head varsity baseball coach Pat Hunt said. "His work ethic has always been in line with his passion. Every year Connor has made great strides with a team first mentality."

As for the kind of player that's headed the Barons way?

"Franciscan is getting a player that puts others before himself and will do whatever it takes to achieve his potential," Hunt said.

Franciscan University of Steubenville competes in the NCAA Division III Presidents' Athletic Conference, whose member schools are based primarily in Pennsylvania. The Barons compete in conference play against the likes of Allegheny College, Bethany College, Chatham University and Washington & Jefferson College, among others.
