NILES, Illinois — Northridge is celebrating three standout student-athletes from the Class of 2025 who have officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Bo Arnold, Linus Coleman and Ethan Lagunas each represent different sports and stories, showcasing the talent and determination within the Northridge athletic program.
Bo Arnold – Lake Forest College, Basketball
A cornerstone of the Northridge basketball program, Bo Arnold will take his talents to Lake Forest College next year. A four-year member of the varsity team and two-year starter, Arnold's leadership on and off the court was evident throughout his high school career. As a junior and senior, he earned All-Conference honors and served as captain during his final season. Known for his court vision, relentless work ethic, and steady presence, Arnold leaves behind a legacy of consistency.
Linus Coleman – St. Norbert College, Soccer
On the soccer pitch, Linus Coleman has been a dominant force throughout his four-year varsity career, serving as a varsity team captain for the last three seasons. His senior year campaign earned him All-Conference recognition. As a junior, Coleman was awarded IHSSA All-Sectional as a Forward and as a senior was named IHSSA All-Sectional as a Forward and IHSSA Honorable Mention All-Sectional as a Midfielder. A skilled forward with a tireless engine, Coleman's commitment to the game and his teammates made him a respected leader. He'll join the St. Norbert College program with a strong foundation and an eye on continued growth.
Ethan Lagunas – University of Jamestown, Volleyball
Ethan Lagunas' journey is unique among the trio — not just for his sport of choice, but for the path he took to get there. Lagunas has committed to play men's volleyball at the University of Jamestown, despite Northridge not currently offering the sport. Without access to a school team or club program, Lagunas pursued the game independently, dedicating himself to developing skills through outside organizations and self-training. His commitment, drive and passion helped him break new ground as the first Northridge student to earn a collegiate volleyball opportunity, setting an inspiring example for future students.
